How to Unlock and Reach the Winding Ravine
To begin this quest, you must complete the main story mission at the Forest Array. Afterwards, speak with the Prospector located behind Pyloon's Saloon in Rambler's Reach Outpost to pick up the rumor. Fast travel to the Derelict Dam meditation point to locate the massive Trontoshell creature standing nearby.
Approach the creature and use your Relter or tame ability to cause it to lower its head. Grab onto its vine-covered tusk so it transports you across the gap to an upper cliff. Disembark on this new ledge and follow the path forward to officially enter the Winding Ravine area.
Solving the Winding Ravine Cube Puzzle
Inside the cave area of the ravine, you will encounter a puzzle featuring two movable metal cubes. To claim the Skill Point Essence hidden on the upper ledge, you must manipulate both cubes using Force Push and Force Pull. First, move the lower cube along the incline to climb up and push the top cube down to the lower floor.
Next, align one cube in the central gap to form a bridge between the ledges. Pull the second cube across the first one to create a step up to the high alcove. Once both blocks are stacked or bridged effectively, climb up to receive your Force Essence reward.
Reaching the Relter and Defeating the Gorocco

Navigate past the canyon walls, using wall runs and rope swings to cross the wide chasm safely. At the far end of the trail, an aggressive Gorocco beast will ambush you on a narrow platform.
Defeat the creature or quickly bypass it to access the ledge directly behind its position. On this higher ground, you will find a tameable Relter gliding creature waiting near the cliff edge. Grab onto the Relter to glide across the remaining expanse of Dredger Gorge toward a isolated plateau.
Claiming the Hidden Reward
Landing on the final secluded platform brings you directly to the resolution of the rumor. Situated on the ledge is a large cosmetic chest containing the Hunter Lightsaber set.
